Tina Housman, Practice Administrator
Tina is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, her family relocated to Arizona and then on to California when she was around 8 years old, where she resided with her family in various cities both in southern and northern California until 1971.
Tina left home after graduating High School in 1971 and spent one year in Germany, then on to New Mexico and back to California. In 1977, Tina and family moved back to Missouri. After several years of work in the National Guard and Banking, Tina accepted a position as medical secretary and Patient Coordinator for the American Parkinson’s Disease Association with Dr. John Byer, Department of Neurology at the School of Medicine, University of Missouri. During her 9 years of employment with the University of Missouri, School of Medicine, she moved from medical secretary to Patient Relations for the University Physicians. Tina relocated to California and worked in various management positions in Periodontics, Psychiatry & Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Collections, Family Care, Radiology, Plastic Surgery, Consulting, to Practice Administrator for Mesa Family Medical Center.
In 1995, Tina was one of the first 10 people in the State of California to become a Certified Medical Office Manger through the Professional Association of Health Care Office Managers.
While working and raising a family, Tina continued her education through continuing education training, evening courses, correspondence, and on-line courses. She received a Bachelors of Science Degree in 2003, with honors.
Currently, she is married with five children and 3 grandchildren. Her hobbies are reading, music, learning new languages and traveling.
Her motto is “To build the Premier Medical Practice in the East Valley by providing quality patient care and personal attention to the needs of our patients.”
